When you come to meet a person, especially for the first time what you notice first is the face. Face is the first physical familiarization that will catch your attention. When your new acquaintance speaks our eyes is directly seeing his or her lips. Lips are second most sensitive part of our face, (our eyes is number one) so proper lip care and nurturing should be constant. Giving prior attention to our lips is vital to maintain its softness and pinkish or red color of our lips. Dry chapped lips will spoil your aura making your face appear dull and unattractive.
When we were born our lips natural softness and redness is so invigorating that baby’s catches people’s attention. As we grow older, its softness and redness diminishes making it dull and lifeless. Probably because of the chemicals that our lips are exposed to, like using lipstick, lip balm, moisturizers and the contributing factors of the environmental pollution. Lip care needs a daily and constant basis to get back your lips suppleness and natural redness. Proper protection and lip care does not need to be expensive buying ultra healing lip care. Healthy looking lips shouldn’t or won’t spoil your budget.
Our weather condition greatly affects lips fullness and suppleness. How to protect lips from the harmful effect of weather condition:
Eat plenty of fruits and green leafy vegetables. Fruits as we all know has the highest source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is anti-oxidants that protects skin cells. When our cell is protected, Our skin also the lips maintains its natural suppleness like that of the baby’s. Green leafy vegetables are rich in iron. Iron conditions our red blood cells. If your red blood cells run normally, there is no doubt our lips will have a red color not pale.
Drink 8 to 12 glasses of water. Water supplies oxygen to our body especially our brain. Sufficient amount of oxygen in our body aids a dark looking lips.
Lips will look beautiful and attractive only if they are healthy. Applying lipstick will not make your lips appear catchy. Yes it may look red or pink colored and attractive but only when lipsticks are on. What if there is no lipstick? What will your lips look like? Dark, dull and flaky. Of course you don’t want this to happen, do you? We are, especially ladies are becoming conscious about their looks. The desire to look attractive is becoming intense that women would try every possible way to appear beautiful and attractive. Using cosmetics to hide impurities are widely used no matter what race you are.
Putting on make-up becomes daily routine to ladies before they go out; whether it would be going to an office, going to school or having that big date. Ladies pay attention to your lips as it is often forgotten. Putting on lipstick is not enough.
Here are the guide:
Using a soft bristle toothbrush, gently brush upper lips and lower lips starting from the center of the lips outward. Make sure to wet your toothbrush first, Wait, I said wet your toothbrush only do not put toothpaste. Pat dry lips. This first step will clean lips.
After doing so, apply lip balm to your lips starting from the center going outward, and then using your toothbrush, gently brush again to remove dead skin on lips.
Apply lip sheener to make your lips appear lustrous and young looking.
Lastly apply just thin lipstick.
